Senior Clinical Fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Clinical Fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine to join its Women's Health Directorate. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop specialist skills in fetal medicine, working closely with experienced fetal medicine consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to support women with pregnancies affected by complex fetal conditions. The successful candidate will contribute to fetal medicine clinics, ultrasound assessment, antenatal care planning and coordinated multidisciplinary management, while also participating in teaching, quality improvement and research activities. The post includes broader obstetric and gynaecology responsibilities and provides excellent senior registrar-level experience within a busy and supportive London maternity service. Please note that this post may close early if sufficient applications are received., The Senior Clinical Fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine will play a key role in delivering specialist fetal medicine services, supporting the assessment and management of pregnancies affected by complex fetal conditions. Working alongside experienced fetal medicine consultants in a multidisciplinary environment, the post offers excellent opportunities to develop advanced fetal medicine and ultrasound skills, contribute to education and research, and gain valuable senior registrar experience within a busy London maternity unit.

About the Department

The Maternal Medicine, Diabetes in Pregnancy and Fetal Medicine services form part of the Women's Health Directorate within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Whittington Hospital. The department provides specialist, multidisciplinary care for women with complex maternal and fetal conditions, working closely with obstetricians, fetal medicine specialists, physicians, sonographers, specialist midwives, neonatal teams and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality maternity care
