Senior Clinical Fellow in Hepatology / Viral hepatitis

The post will be based mainly at St Thomas' Hospital. There will also be close links with King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill site. This post will also working with other South East London Trusts within the remit of the ODN. It is also a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service., The expectation from the post holder will be to work alongside other members of the hepatology department, specifically focusing on viral hepatitis. This includes:

Dedicated clinics for linkage to care for patients with viral hepatitis identified through ED opt-out testing

Attendance (virtual or in-person) at the ODN hepatitis MDM at King's College Hospital

Quality improvement projects and administrative work relating to the ODN

Co-ordination of the local hepatitis MDM at GSTT

General hepatology outpatient clinics

Support for the inpatient hepatology service and the Gastro Day Unit if required

Endoscopy service delivery and GI bleed on call rota (optional)
