We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic doctor to join our team as a Senior Clinical Fellow in General and Specialist Medicine at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This 12-month fixed-term post is ideally suited to clinicians at CT3/ST3 level (or above) who are looking to further develop their skills in acute and general medicine within a supportive and dynamic environment. Based primarily at St Peter's Hospital, the role provides exposure to a broad and diverse case mix across acute and specialist medical services. You will join a forward-thinking department with access to modern facilities, including Clinical Assessment Unit and Same Day Emergency Care service, enabling you to play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. This post offers an excellent platform to enhance your clinical expertise, gain leadership and supervisory experience, and contribute to service development through audit and quality improvement work. You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to achieving the highest standards of care for patients in the local community.,

  • Participate in the General Medicine on-call rota (full shift pattern).
  • Conductdaily ward rounds and provide inpatient care for a diverse range of acute medical patients.
  • Supervise and support junior doctors, including foundation trainees.
  • Work collaboratively within themultidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver safe, effective care.
  • Maintainaccurate clinical documentation and ensure effective communication with GPs and other services.
  • Contribute toaudit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives.

    £54,499 to £76,582 a year per annum, plus £149 HCAS and additional rota payments
