Full Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to obtain a good volume of training in minimally invasive surgical procedures. You will also be expected to run independent 2ww clinics as well as supporting the team across all areas of elective activity including theatres, day case, outpatients, endoscopy and ward rounds. You will be a senior member of team, providing leadership and support to the junior doctors. The appointee will be expected to participate in the Department's undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programme. This is a very busy department offering exposure to a wide range of services, teaching and research opportunities.

The department are looking for an enthusiastic experienced individual to join a forward thinking and proactive colorectal team of 9 consultants. Applicants should be post CCT or within 12 months of completion of CCT with full GMC Registration and licence to practice at the time of application.
