Perform duties at the middle grade level in the Emergency Department, managing the initial assessment and treatment of acutely ill and injured patients across a wide spectrum of presentations.
Provide clinical advice and support to junior medical staff and trainee nurse practitioners, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Participate as a key member of the Trauma Team and fulfil the role of nominated Resuscitation or Paediatric doctor of the day, as scheduled.
Engage in the management of diverse cases, including life-threatening medical and vascular emergencies, limb-threatening injuries, and the complex needs of elderly patients.
Work collaboratively with other departments such as the Acute Medical Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit, and Intensive Care to ensure comprehensive patient management.

All applicants should have the MRCEM qualification (MRCPCH for the Paediatrics post), along with full GMC registration and licence to practice in the UK. All candidates must have satisfactorily completed ST3 year before the commencement of the role, which will beAugust 2026.
