Summary



Applicants are invited for the above full time Senior Clinical Fellow post for at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.


This is a fixed term 12 month Senior Clinical Fellow post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The post holder will be expected to support our consultants in delivering comprehensive care to women who attend the department. The appointee will work closely with the existing Specialist Registrars and supporting Consultants to provide a full range of obstetric and gynaecological services appropriate to a District General Hospital. It is anticipated that the candidate will provide a high standard of general obstetrics and gynaecological care.


The successful candidate will play an important part in day to day management of antenatal and postnatal patients, and in the running of the labour ward. The post also includes a gynaecology clinic and day surgery. The department also currently provides services for Urogynaecology, subfertility, and gynaecology oncology. The population served by this hospital is approximately 270,000.


Our Trust provides hospital services to a growing population of around 700,000 people living across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas across two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton. Travel between hospital sites may be required.
