Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and comfort during the night Providing emotional reassurance and companionship as needed Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding to any changes or concerns Maintaining accurate records and ensuring handovers are clear and thorough Leading and supporting night staff, including supervision and guidance Assisting with staff appraisals, training, and liaising with healthcare professionals Ensuring the home remains calm, safe, and well-managed overnight What are we looking for?
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Practitioner to join our night team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role during night shifts, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and support throughout the night., Supervisory or leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting A warm, professional approach with a positive attitude Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Confidence in using care systems and maintaining accurate records Ability to remain calm and lead effectively under pressure
£15.03 per hour Contract: 33 hours per week (3 x long days) Shifts: 8pm-8am on a rolling rota, including some weekend working At Sandstone Care Group, we are committed to delivering high-quality care in a warm, supportive environment. - Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final.
