Senior Care Practitioner. Longridge Hall Care Home

We are now seeking an experienced Senior Care Practitioner to join our dedicated team on days. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong leadership abilities, excellent care standards, and a genuine passion for supporting others. In this role, you will: Provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Deliver personal care, emotional support, and companionship to residents. Administer medication safely and in line with company and regulatory requirements. Lead, supervise, and support care staff to ensure consistent high standards. Assist with staff development, including mentoring and supporting new team members. Ensure compliance with care plans, policies, and safeguarding procedures. Contribute to care planning and complete accurate risk assessments. Maintain thorough, timely documentation and record-keeping. Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals. Support daily operations and assist the Home Manager as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, relatives, and visitors. Promote best practice in infection control, health and safety, and quality assurance.

Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it. Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Hourly Rate: £15.03 per hour Hours: 38.5 hours per week (3-4 shifts per week on a rolling rota) Shift Pattern: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Longridge Hall Care Home is a warm and welcoming 60-bed residential service offering high-quality, person-centred care.
