Summary


Roche Health Care are wanting to recruit a Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader (Dementia) to join our friendly team at Mansion House in Drax


Salary: from £12.83/£13.05phr for Level 3


Hours: Full time - 36 hrs Days


Experience in a Care Home setting essential


We provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia. Our main priority for this is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own. Above all we want someone who shares our values. These are:

Hold a current NVQ/Diploma Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or must be working towards the qualification with relevant experience.



  • Essential: Medication trained


Experienced in meeting the needs of older people.


Experience of Care planning and willingness to undertake a qualification in Administration of medicines required.


Evidence of commitment to personal development, training, and education. Ability to provide quality care


Good interpersonal and communication skills - Good organisational skills


Good team working skills - Effective time management skills - Ability to work independently following verbal or written instructions


Evidence of commitment to personal development, training, and education - Adaptable to change - Basic first aid knowledge - Health and safety awareness


To be kind and considerate, innovative and caring, honest, reliable, trustworthy, and respectful.


Understand, accept, and adhere to the need for strict confidentiality


Be able to work on own initiative, work under pressure and remain calm


Be flexible and adaptable - Be aware of own limitations - Provide cover for absence of other Senior Care staff and Team Leaders when required
