ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care,
providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibili, The Senior Care Assistant - Nights position at Avery Healthcare involves working at Acer House Care Home in Weston Super Mare, Somerset. The role requires the individual to support and work alongside the Care team to ensure high standards of personal care and attention to residents. Responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, managing care plans, aiding in personalized care planning, supporting medication requirements, undertaking staff supervision, and acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals. Applicants should exhibit Avery's values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Candidates need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, at least 2 years of experience in a similar environment, good communication skills, and a positive and flexible attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff. The job offers a permanent position with a salary of £13.75 per hour, requiring a DBS Disclosure check
