Full Job Description
independently and join the Primary PCI service. At that time you will proceed to Band 6. The successful applicant will be working in both non invasive and invasive cardiology. As a Band 6 you will be expected to have an excellent knowledge of clinical cardiology with a proven record of working to a high standard. The successful candidate will have completed a BSc (Hons) in clinical physiology or equivalent. They will have RCCP or AHCS registration and hold an ILS or ALS certificate. The department is committed to professional development and is passionate in supporting our staff to develop. We have great opportunities for career progression and post graduate examinations are actively encouraged. The successful candidate will be expected, with training, to work towards attainment of specialist accreditation. and/or children and in line with Trust policy successful applicants will be required to a undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check. As a band 5 you will need to have Cardiac Physiology degree when you start. During the expected 12 months you will undergo preceptorship and gain experience you will then apply to Academy of Healthcare Science for membership and have that as well as being able to take part in the 24/7 primary PCI rota. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 initially.
