independently and join the Primary PCI service. At that time you will proceed to Band 6. The successful applicant will be working in both non invasive and invasive cardiology. As a Band 6 you will be expected to have an excellent knowledge of clinical cardiology with a proven record of working to a high standard. The successful candidate will have completed a BSc (Hons) in clinical physiology or equivalent. They will have RCCP or AHCS registration and hold an ILS or ALS certificate. As a band 5 you will need to have Cardiac Physiology degree when you start. During the expected 12 months you will undergo preceptorship and gain experience you will then apply to Academy of Healthcare Science for membership and have that as well as being able to take part in the 24/7 primary PCI rota.
