Full Job Description
Are you a Senior Nurse and Non-Medical Prescriber looking to work as part of a dynamic and supportive prescribing team? We would like you to join our CAMHS Long Term Follow Up Team supporting the non-medical prescribing needs for children with ADHD and mental health needs in Southampton., You will be working as part of the wider CAMHS team in Southampton. The successful candidate will work alongside other Nurse Prescribers, within a multidisciplinary team, completing specialist assessments and delivering interventions to children, young people, and their parents/carers, including pharmacological interventions as a Non-Medical Prescriber., You will be responsible for your own independent prescribing caseload and for supporting duty prescribing functions. You will be responsible for assessing and managing risks within the non-medical prescribing caseload working in partnership with the wider multidisciplinary CAMHS team to meet the needs of children and young people with ADHD and mental health needs.
We can offer you a supportive working environment and being part of an extensive CAMHS, ND and LD workforce across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You will be working closely with system partners and developing the use of the innovative ND Profiling Tool.
We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting children and young people in least restrictive within their family homes and communities.
This role requires a qualified Nurse Prescriber (V300) who has experience working with children and families and holds a current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
