please let us know - we want this to be the best possible experience for you.Key ResponsibilitiesDrawing ProductionProduce, check and approve engineering drawings to client and UIPTD standards, including: route maps and corridor plans, profile and section drawings, wire clearance diagrams, general arrangement and structure drawings, foundation arrangement drawings, cable cross sections, schematics and setting-out drawingsPrepare and update schedules, crossing schedules, and structure position listsProduce as-built drawings following construction phase, incorporating site mark-ups and RFI outcomesConvert survey data and PLS-CADD model outputs into production-quality engineering drawingsProduce drawings in AutoCAD and other CAD tools to client-specified drawing standardsDocument Control & ManagementManage drawing registers and ensure all documents are correctly named, numbered, and controlled in line with project document control proceduresUpload and manage drawings within document
management systems (Oracle, Projectwise, or equivalent)Coordinate drawing issue and revision cycles, including tracking review comments and incorporating mark-ups from engineers and clientsMaintain and update drawing schedules and transmittal records throughout the project lifecycleCollaboration & Technical SupportWork closely with OHL design engineers to understand scheme requirements and translate engineering intent into accurate drawingsAttend design team meetings and contribute to drawing production planning and programme managementSupport and mentor junior engineers in the production of presentation drawings and client-facing materialsProvide drawing QA checks on own outputs and those of other team members where requiredAssist with GIS data preparation and route corridor mapping using ArcGIS or equivalentQuality & StandardsEnsure all drawing outputs comply with relevant client CAD standards (SSE, SPEN, NGED, etc.) and UIPTD internal drawing standardsApply correct title block

information, revision history, and drawing metadata to all outputsMaintain awareness of drawing conventions and standards relevant to the roleInvestigate and develop efficient working methods, techniques and new softwareRequirementsEssential Minimum 8 years of CAD experience in an engineering environment, with specific experience in T&D or power infrastructure drawing productionProven ability to lead, manage and prepare packages of work with minimal supervisionAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience of Civil3D and MicroStation desirableExperience of producing T&D related drawingsFamiliarity with T&D drawing conventions and the ability to read and interpret engineering calculations and survey dataExperience of working within a formal document control systemStrong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, consistent drawings to a high standardGood communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-discipline design teamExperience of mentoring and
