The core deliverables of the role includeManage competitive sourcing across multiple commodities for two parallel vehicle launch programmesSupport the shift from tactical prototype sourcing to strategic production partnershipsLead supplier negotiations to maximise value and build strong, collaborative relationshipsContribute to wider business transformation, providing insight to improve processes and efficiencyThe Specialist will collaborate with internal departments to meet organisational procurement needs and technical specifications.
The core capabilities required areBackground in Automotive and/or Motorsport (highly beneficial)Experience within start-up or scale-up organisationsExperience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Vendor NegotiationDeep understanding of Procurement tools, techniques & best practices with the ability to apply by default outside of structured framework environmentsFull end-to-end Source-to-Contract capabilityLateral thinker with exceptional attention to detailStrong negotiator, communicator, and team playerProactive, collaborative self-starter with a hands-on approachCalm, composed, and effective under pressureProficiency in relevant procurement and ERP systemsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in CoventryMust have rights to work in UK.
