• Champion a product-owner mindset across Internal Audit to enable repeatable, value-driven assurance Drive a culture of innovation and translate creative concepts into practical solutions Define the product roadmap with stakeholders in Head of Professional Practices and Audit Transformation Lead Design data-driven test strategies and translate control objectives into scalable analytical tests Build, deploy and maintain scalable AI and automation solutions and promote their adoption Foster a data-led understanding of risk through data science Establish robust monitoring controls over key datasets ingested into data products Stay at the forefront of emerging tech trends and collaborate across Monzo to leverage developments Develop collaborative relationships with external stakeholders such as Data Discipline Train and upskill Internal Audit on using data and AI solutions Tasks Experience in fast-moving environments with risk and control frameworks Strong technical foundation in data science and analytics engineering Experience with modern technology stacks Ability to influence without authority and drive technology adoption Natural translator and collaborator bridging data science and business risk Understanding of AI and automation risks and ability to design controls Key requirements remote/hybrid work flexible working hours 1,000 learning budget per year Macbooks provided home office setup support incentive awards tied to performance
