Senior Analyst - Lending Operations

You will operate as a senior analytical partner to Collections leadership, owning key performance areas and driving step changes in reporting quality and scalability. The focus is not just on producing MI, but on redefining it. You will assess existing reporting frameworks, identify gaps or inconsistencies and design scalable, well governed metric structures that support better decision making. You will work within the Collections function, partnering closely with Operations and Lending stakeholders. You will influence senior stakeholders and proactively identify where insight can unlock efficiency, improve customer outcomes or reduce risk. • Lead the redesign and scaling of operational MI frameworks
• Define and standardise key metrics across Collections and Recoveries
• Conduct deep analytical investigations into credit performance, operational effectiveness and customer outcomes
• Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Identify structural inefficiencies and propose data driven improvements
• Partner with Operations, Risk and Product teams on cross functional initiatives
• Improve data quality, governance and metric consistency
  
  Advanced SQL skills and strong experience working with large, complex datasets
• Strong experience with BI tools and dashboard design best practice
• Proven track record of owning analytical problem areas from diagnosis to delivery
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting in high visibility settings
• Comfortable working with ambiguous problem statements and shaping analytical approach
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to quantify trade offs
• Structured thinker who balances detail with strategic perspective
• Proactive and confident in challenging assumptions constructively
• Nice to have: experience within fintech, banking or regulated operational environments, and experience leading reporting transformation or large-scale MI rebuilds.
