Senior AI Scheduler Lead Slough, Hybrid About The Role Summary: You will lead a team of 5, focused on driving improvements in planning, forecasting, resource optimisation, and operational efficiency within the area of AI. You will provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the team, whilst working with key stakeholders to deliver, solutions, enhance decision-making, and support business growth. You will be is responsible for championing innovation, embedding continuous improvement across tech scheduling team. Role Responsibilities: Lead and manage AI scheduling and resource planning activities, ensuring effective utilisation, development, and deployment of Trainers to meet business demand. Oversee the optimisation of Trainer schedules through data driven forecasting, workforce planning, and intelligent resource allocation. Lead the planning and provision of appropriate cover for Trainer in demand through predictive scheduling and capacity management. Manage and enhance the onboarding, management skills, are essential and experience of team management required Logical thinker who is willing to own and solve problems with the determination to find solutions Knowledge of training / scheduling Confident Extremely pro-active Clear communication Must have excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, work methodically, accurately and effectively under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude Flexible and adaptable to change Works collaboratively Listens to and follows instructions to the highest level of accuracy Be prepared attend face to face meetings when required Must be prepared to work outside of business hours when required About Us Wellbeing & benefits Your wellbeing matters to us. Lead, coach, and develop the scheduling team, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to support the successful delivery of training and workforce planning objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality, and enhance scheduling efficiency. Produce and interpret performance, utilisation, forecasting, and operational reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
