Full Job Description
The post holder is responsible for the Consort House site as co-ordinator and incident lead, working in close liaison with the Emergency Planning Resilience and Response, Estates and Health and Safety leads.
The post holder will manage the administration and reception team at Consort House, ensuring an efficient, high quality and effective administrative support service representing FCHC values and quality of care. This includes staff recruitment, appraisals, training, rostering, day to day line management and chairing staff meetings.
Main duties of the job
The job involves:
Providing support and line management for administration staff, including allocating workload, managing and monitoring performance and maintaining high standards and good practice amongst the administrative staff and administration systems
The post holder will act as site liaison for Estates and Health and Safety at Consort House, working in partnership with colleagues to ensure that the headquarters adheres to Health and Safety Legislation, completing incident reports as required and liaising with external partners to resolve any issues.
The post holder will take a lead role in the event of any incidents/accidents and near miss occurrences in accordance with our policies and procedures, liaising with relevant agencies/managers (Estates, Health and Safety, IT, NHS property services) when incidents occur.
The post holder will facilitate management for Consort House: to act as the intelligent client for third-party supplier contracts, holding suppliers accountable for outsourced services. This includes addressing any maintenance and operation issues at the site and escalating appropriately to suppliers, contractors and the Estates and Health & Safety teams.
