Senior Accountant

As part of our expanding team, you'll play a key role in delivering high quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients while supporting and mentoring more junior team members. • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Managing a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.
• Reviewing and submitting VAT returns.
• Liaising effectively with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries and provide technical support.
• Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members.
• Supporting managers and partners with client projects and practice development where required.
  
  ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting standards.
• Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied portfolio.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
