Senior 1 Radiographer CT And General Xray

As a Senior I Radiographer, you will rotate between CT and General X-ray, performing high-quality examinations while ensuring every patient receives an exceptional standard of care. You will:

• Deliver high-quality CT and X-ray imaging according to departmental protocols
• Support and lead the team during shifts, including deputising for the Superintendent when required
• Participate in out-of-hours, night, weekend, and on-call rotas
• Train and mentor junior radiographers and new starters
• Carry out clinical audits and support equipment QA processes
• Ensure safe practice in accordance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17 and local rules
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a busy and fast-paced environment, Equivalent to 25 days holiday per year, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell

• BSc/Diploma in Radiography
• HCPC Registration
• Significant CT experience (minimum 2 years)
• Strong general X-ray experience
• Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
• Evidence of CPD
• Postgraduate Certificate in CT
• Siemens CT experience
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
