We are seeking an exceptional SENDCo who is a passionate advocate for students with special educational needs and disabilities, and who shares our unwavering commitment to high aspirations for every young person. The successful candidate will be attentive, compassionate and deeply caring, with the ability to listen carefully to pupils and families, champion their needs, and ensure that every student is known, valued and supported to flourish. Guided by our Catholic mission & distinctive charism, the SENDCo will promote inclusion, dignity and hope, working collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning while never placing limits on ambition or potential.
The College would welcome applications from experienced SEND practitioners who are ready to step into the role immediately, as well as those currently completing or willing to undertake the NASENCO qualification
The successful candidate must be willing to support and engage with St Ambrose College's vision of providing an outstanding Catholic education and this includes commitment to participating fully in the extra-curricular life of the school.
