The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure inclusive practice and excellent outcomes for all pupils; playing a central role in shaping SEND strategy, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality provision that meets the needs of every child. About the Role As a Teacher, you will deliver high quality teaching and learning in line with the Teachers' Standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage effective SEND provision across the school
• Oversee the implementation and review of the SEND policy and provision maps
• Monitor the progress and attainment of pupils with SEND, ensuring appropriate support and challenge
• Work collaboratively with staff to develop high-quality inclusive teaching practices
• Provide training, guidance and support to teachers and teaching assistants
• Act as the main point of contact for parents and external agencies
• Lead multi-agency meetings and coordinate support for pupils
• Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and inclusion policies
• Analyse data to inform interventions, provision and school improvement
  
  We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who can bring positivity, professionalism and a strong commitment to children's learning.
• A qualified teacher with QTS and the National Award for SEND Coordination
• Proven experience of delivering high-quality teaching, ideally at good or outstanding level
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, the Code of Practice, and effective interventions
• Experience of leading or contributing to whole-school improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to inspire, motivate and support both pupils and colleagues
• A commitment to inclusion, removing barriers to learning and achieving the best outcomes for every child

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 0.8 FTE, 39 weeks per year from January 2027 (or sooner if possible)
