Full Job Description

The Position We have the opportunity for a SENDCo to join our Northwich Campus on a full-time, permanent basis. The Campus OneSchool Global UK Northwich Campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to support both online and face-to-face learning. The campus will represent OneSchool Global's ambitions as a leading global school design to support the successful implementation of our signature pedagogy - the Learning to Learn framework. Our students range from Year 3 to Year 13 with small cohorts in each year group. Skills & Experience The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with a wide range of SEND, and of leading provision strategically across a school to raise standards of achievement for children with SEND. The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (with at least 4 years' experience) and the NASENCO or NPQSENCo qualification. We are looking for a SENDCo who has experience of working with students with complex learning needs, such as Prader Willi Syndrome, Down Syndrome and Kabuki Syndrome, as well as students who are working three or more years below their chronological age. It would also be desirable for the candidate to have had experience working with students who are nonverbal or preverbal. The role will include leading a fantastic team of 6-10 teaching assistants/higher level teaching assistants, supported by a passionate and experienced Learning Support Co-ordinator. The role has been designed as a non-teaching role, although leading and delivering interventions will be required, to enable the successful candidate to be fully committed to driving strategic growth for all students with SEND.
