SEND Teaching Assistant

In partnership with The Supply RegisterThe Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Pear Tree via the Prospere Learning Trust to recruit dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants for a range of opportunities starting in September.We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within an inclusive educational environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
• Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs and external professionals
• Promote a positive and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will
  
  Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
Be patient, caring and adaptable in their approach Have strong communication and teamwork skills Be committed to promoting inclusion and pupil progress Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)What We Offer
