SEND Teaching Assistant

To support teaching and learning by assisting teachers in delivering education and care to pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teaching Assistant will embody the EPIC values and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment that promotes pupil wellbeing and achievement. We support a vast array of students who have learning difficulties which affect their learning, communication and daily life. • Support and mentor students with their learning in class, at home, and through outdoor activities
• Help prepare materials and support lessons, focusing on behaviour management
• Write daily reports on student progress and challenges
• Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers
  
  Passionate about helping students with SEND
• 2+ years of experience in a SEND setting
• Strong English and Maths skills
• A TA level 3 qualification is advantageous
