Full Job Description

To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teacher will model professional integrity and the EPIC values, work collaboratively within the school community, and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment.,

  • We are looking for a qualified English Teacher that can help students with a range of special educational needs within Key Stage 3
  • As an English Teacher you must help and support each individual as needed
  • You will also set, mark and give feedback on English assignments, tests and homework, as part of the continuous assessment of each pupil.
  • Enable pupils to gain a good command of both spoken and written language, equipping them with the ability to express themselves and their ideas in a variety of situations

    A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • QTS/QTLS is a requirement, We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All posts require an enhanced DBS check.

The school caters for pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental wellbeing needs.
  • Additionally, many of our pupils present with significant social and communication difficulties influenced by trauma or complex emotional difficulties. The school prides itself on providing specialised interventions than those provided in a mainstream school.

    Salary: £28,288 - £44,304 | Full Time (40 hours/week),
