This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with experience or a strong interest in working with students with Autism and complex learning needs. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated teaching to pupils with Autism and additional needs
• Create a safe and structured classroom environment
• Adapt and personalise the curriculum to meet individual EHCP targets
• Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families
• Use data and observations to plan next steps for learning
• Manage behaviour positively and support emotional regulation
• Engage in whole-school training and SEND best practice

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism
• Knowledge of specialist teaching methods (e.g. TEACCH, PECs, sensory integration) is a plus
• Strong classroom management and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication with students, staff, and parents
• A reflective and resilient mindset, open to learning and collaboration
