Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for a confident, self-motivated and passionate individual to support our SEND Intervention team to help remove barriers to learning and success. The successful candidate will need to be integral to enhancing the life chances of all our young people with a focus on literacy, numeracy and the overall foundation curriculum. Working with students with learning and behavioural difficulties to encourage positive engagement.

You should have the ability to adapt to unpredictable and challenging situations and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive approach to working effectively with all members of the school community. This is a public facing role, so fluency in English is essential.

The successful candidate should hold a SEND qualification (minimum of level 2), and a current first aid qualification would be desirable, however, training can be given.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4pm, Term Time plus Inset days

Scale 2/3 point 4-7 dependant on experience (Actual Salary £21,015 - £22,003 including outer fringe allowance) pay award pending
