The SEND Commissioning Support Officer is central to the efficient and effective running of the various work streams within the Joint Commissioning Team. The Joint Commission Team sits within the Education Division, and works across the Children's Services Department and with Health. SEND Commissioning Support Officers support the wider Joint Commissioning Team's finance and administration, project work, monitoring and oversight of contracts and frameworks. As each of the work streams within the Joint Commissioning Team is unique. The Commissioning Support Officer (CSO) helps to ensure we avoid overlap or gaps in provision. This is a key role within the team and essential to the effective running of the team. The SEND Commissioning Support Officer role is responsible for assisting the Joint Commissioning team with areas including Financial Administration and Control, Commissioning and Project Support, Coordination Across Workstreams, Stakeholder Consultation and Engagement and Data Analysis, Research and Reporting. We are looking for candidates who are able to:
- Work with service providers, stakeholders and service users across partnerships.
- Plan and organise a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner, changing messages to suit different audiences.
- Provide practical problem solving and the ability to analyse and interpret financial information, policies and procedures.
- demonstrate knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities, including SEND Reforms and wider commissioning processes., This is an exciting opportunity working with the Joint Commissioning Team.
