Do you have the diplomacy and detail-oriented mindset to ensure every young person's support plan is accurate, meaningful, and delivered on time? At New Meaning Training, we help young people rediscover their potential and take steps toward a future they can be proud of - through learning that leads to real opportunity. It's education with a difference - and it works! Many of our learners have previously struggled in mainstream settings where "one-size-fits-all" learning plans didn't suit their needs. As a SENCo Administrator, you are the engine room of this mission. By managing the EHCP Annual Review process, you ensure that the support our learners receive is not just a document, but a roadmap to their success. You aren't just filing forms; you are chairing reviews, collaborating with Tutors, and liaising with external agencies to ensure that every young person has the provision they need to thrive. If you have experience in SEND and a passion for turning complex administration into life-changing opportunities, you'll fit right in. This is a vital central role within our Learning and Development Team, offering the chance to use your expertise to make a lasting difference in a growing, purpose-led organisation.Key Responsibilities · Manage the direct-funded EHCP Annual Review process: Schedule reviews within 12-month cycles and ensure all statutory deadlines are met. · Lead the Review Cycle: Liaise with Tutors to gather input, propose amendments to EHCPs that reflect current needs, and invite all relevant parties and external agencies. · Chair Meetings: Facilitate annual reviews, ensuring the voices of the young person and their support network are heard. · Data and Paperwork Mastery: Complete and submit all local authority paperwork promptly and accurately, maintaining 100% compliance. · Support the SENCo Manager: Assist in tracking learner progress, monitoring SMART targets, and ensuring delivery of agreed provisions. · Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain clear, professional communication with referral partners and external agency services. · System Management: Implement and maintain effective data collection and monitoring systems relating to SEND provision. About Us New Meaning Training (NMT) offers education with a difference. We are an alternative education provider dedicated to helping young people aged 15-25 discover their strengths and develop the confidence and skills to earn their own living. For the 2025-2026 academic year, around 300 young people from Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and Berkshire will join one of our programmes. Many of these students are referred by secondary schools, pupil referral units, and Special Education Needs settings. Our journey began in 2015 with the opening of our first centre in High Wycombe. Ten years on, NMT continues to grow, with two new centres that opened for the 2025-2026 learning year. New Meaning Training delivers a broad offer across several counties, and in Buckinghamshire we operate three centres-High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes-that provide flexible pathways for young people to build confidence, develop skills and move toward positive destinations. Across these centres, learners can access a varied mix of SETPD "Introduction to..." courses, including Catering, Computing, Community Care, Motor Mechanics, Creative Art & Design and Hair & Beauty, alongside our established Construction Multiskills programme, Boost Workskills, and Achieve Lifeskills. We also offer Transition Support; an outreach programme designed for young people who need time and tailored support before reengaging with a learning environment. All programmes incorporate Functional Skills in Maths and English, supported by tutorials that build personal growth, wellbeing and employability. Each Buckinghamshire centre has its own character: High Wycombe will expand into a new dedicated learning space on Baker Street from September 2026; Aylesbury occupies the much loved former Healthy Living Centre; and Milton Keynes offers a distinctive practical setting in its converted lighting shop. Together, these centres form a key part of our wider regional provision. NMT tailors its programmes to meet the needs of its learners, considering Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We comprehensively apply the principles of a Loving Care Approach (Trauma Informed Practice) to ensure all young people receive the support they need to thrive. Why work for New Meaning Training?
