Simply Education are looking for an experienced SENCO to join our clients school in the Effingham area in Surrey. Our clients school support students aged 11-16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) through a nurturing and inclusive approach. As SENCO, you'll play a central role in shaping the SEND provision and ensuring every pupil's EHCP outcomes are delivered and tracked. Working closely with the Headteacher, you'll oversee interventions, staff training, and the development of strategies that make a real difference to our learners. Your responsibilities:

• Managing referrals and the pre-admission process in partnership with the Business Development team and families.
• Leading on SEND policy and provision, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
• Coordinating and deploying resources, staff, and therapies to meet individual needs.
• Preparing for and participating in annual reviews and case conferences.
• Driving best practice through CPD, mentoring, and coaching staff.
• Supporting the Headteacher with strategic development and school improvement plans.
  
  QTS/QTLS or equivalent.
• Leadership of a significant area or phase or inclusion, including responsibility for raising standards across the whole school.
• Effective team management and collaborative working.
• Strong communication skills across a range of audiences and mediums.
• Successful management of complex scenarios and conflict resolution.
• Proven ability to work effectively with a range of external agencies.
