SEN Teaching Assistant - Overfields Primary School (Ironstone Academy Trust)

The successful candidate will be a flexible member of a team of two teaching assistants and three SEN teachers. Experience across the curriculum EYFS - Year 6 would be an advantage as the teaching assistant will also support language unit pupils throughout school on an afternoon. The post is a permanent part time position. 29.25hrs per week (4.5 days) at Grade D Term Time only plus 5 PD Days Salary Scale Grade D Point 8 - 11 The Speech and Language Unit provides provision for pupils on a full time and part time basis. It consists of:
• Foundation Stage 4 place part time support base
• KS2 10 place full time support base
• KS1 10 place full time support base
• Outreach Provision 10 place
Children are fully integrated with support on an afternoon into mainstream classes at Overfields Primary School.
