SEN Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton is seeking a reliable and committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with ADHD on a full-time basis.

This role is centred around providing consistent 1:1 support, helping the child to stay engaged, focused and regulated within a KS1 classroom setting. The school is keen to appoint someone who can offer continuity and stability, building a strong relationship with the pupil and becoming a key part of their daily routine.

Role Overview:
- Supporting a KS1 pupil with ADHD on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting with maintaining focus, engagement and classroom participation
- Implementing structured routines and behaviour strategies
- Working closely with the class teacher to adapt learning where required
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Experience working with children with ADHD or additional needs
- Strong behaviour management and ability to keep pupils on task
- A reliable and consistent approach - essential for continuity
- Patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

£105 per day | Full-time | Long-term until end of academic year, £105 per day
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Long-term role until the end of the academic year
