Full Job Description

At Park School, you'll have the opportunity to do what great teaching is really about: building relationships, inspiring confidence and helping students achieve things they never thought possible. We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our specialist team, supporting students with autism and additional needs. With smaller class sizes, a highly supportive environment and the chance to tailor learning to individual students, you'll have the time and flexibility to make a genuine impact every day. This is a role where progress isn't always measured by exam results alone. It might be a student communicating with confidence, overcoming a challenge, building friendships or taking a significant step towards greater independence. Every achievement matters, and you'll play a key role in helping students reach their potential. Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Inspire, motivate and support students with autism and additional SEND needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and adapt approaches to ensure every student can succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with families, therapists and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing alongside academic development.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Experience of working with SEND students, or a genuine interest in specialist education.
  • A creative, adaptable and student-centred approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Committed to creating opportunities for every student to thrive.

At OFG Education, we believe every student deserves an education designed around who they are. Through high expectations, deep expertise and truly personalised education, we help students realise their potential and prepare for successful futures.
  • Building on more than 20 years of experience, we are bringing our approach to more students and communities around the world. Across the UK, Iberia and the Gulf, our schools combine the strength, expertise and high standards of an international education group with the individuality of each school and the communities they serve. Whatever your role, joining OFG Education means contributing to our shared ambition: empowering every student to success through truly personalised education. About Our School Park School is an independent specialist day school in Chipping Norton supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs. We provide a structured, nurturing environment where small class sizes and personalised learning help students re-engage with education. Our dedicated team builds confidence, aspiration, and positive relationships, supporting both academic and social development. Through high expectations and strong pastoral care, we empower students to take pride in their achievements and prepare for life beyond school. We are proud to be a part of OFG Education who in 2025 were officially certified as a 'Great Place to Work' for the sixth year running.

We place students and vulnerable young adults at the heart of everything we do, so every day brings the satisfaction of making a real difference. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and young people. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.
  • Life Assurance
  • Pension scheme with options to increase contributions
  • "Your Wellbeing Matters" - mental health support and physical health checks
  • Flexible Benefits Platform (Vista), including:
  • Health, wellbeing and insurance benefits
  • Hundreds of UK and international discounts
  • Cycle to Work Scheme & Electric Car Purchase Scheme
  • Critical illness cover
  • Family Growth Support, including enhanced maternity/paternity leave and paid fertility treatment support
