- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
- Create an inclusive classroom where every achievement is recognised and celebrated.
- Develop and review personalised learning plans, including IEPs and behaviour support strategies.
- Monitor progress, identify next steps and celebrate every milestone.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to provide exceptional support.
- Promote positive behaviour through consistency, understanding and high expectations.
- Safeguard the wellbeing of every pupil and help create a nurturing learning environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. - Relevant experience in SEND provision.
- Passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Creative, adaptable and able to tailor teaching to a range of learning needs.
- An excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Committed to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding teaching.
Ashley Park School is located in the market town on the south bank of the Thames in the borough of Surrey, within the Greater London built-up area.
