SEN Teachers Wanted - Portsmouth | Start ASAP
Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a range of supportive schools across Portsmouth seeking dedicated teachers to start as soon as possible.
- Location: Portsmouth
- Position: SEN Teacher (Full-time or Part-time)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)
The Role: You will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. The role involves delivering tailored, engaging lessons and creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Support individual learning needs and EHCP targets
- Monitor progress and maintain records
- Work closely with support staff and parents
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
Requirements
- QTS essential
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service essential
- Experience or strong interest in SEN
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
