SEN Specialist Support Assistant

A specialist SEN school in Rochdale is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Specialist Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring every pupil receives the personalised support they need to thrive.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, working closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide high-quality academic, social and emotional support.

Key responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs

Assisting with learning, communication, social development and emotional regulation
