Full Job Description

Rocket Training is looking for a full time or part time SEN / Pastoral Support worker to support young people

As a support worker you will be working closely with young people who require additional support to thrive. This will be on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing classroom support, counselling and mental health support. Support workers provide both basic academic support and support the social and emotional wellbeing of young people in the classroom and practical workshop. You will be assigned a case load of learners who need regular reviews.

We will consider Full time 36.5 hrs/ week or part time two days per week 8.30 to 4.30position, working from our Kensington site

Good Literacy and Numeracy skills;
High expectations and the ability to motivate pupils;
A calm personality, patience and good sense of humour;
having a SpLD Assessment Practicing Certificate will be a distinct advantage
