Would you like to work with a supportive team and have a positive impact on the young people we support?An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Stafford Leys Primary School as a SEN Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis. There are multiple posts available, varying in number of working hours, dependent on the successful candidates. The hours available range from 10 to 27.5 hours weekly, but all require working Monday to Friday each week between 8:45am and 3:15pm. The SEN Learning Support Assistant is responsible for providing support to our pupils and teachers within the school to provide a high quality provision. The successful candidate may be required to work on an individual, 1:1 basis with a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with whole classes or small groups of children. Knowledge and experience of supporting children with SEND is desirable.   • Be NVQ Level 2 qualified at least (or equivalent)
  • Have experience in a classroom environment
  • Have experience of supporting SEND in an educational setting
  • Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills
