Overview


Polaris Education is seeking a SEN Class Teacher at Banbury School, Banbury. The role offers a basic salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520, with a full-time, term-time-only schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Role Responsibilities



  • Responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, meeting the complex SEMH needs of pupils.

  • Supporting the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.

  • Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other staff to meet pupils' needs.

  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including after-school activities and trips.

  • Building positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.



Requirements



  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).

  • A strong basic education to degree level.

  • Previous successful teaching experience.

  • Some experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.

  • Experience of behavior management techniques.

  • Committed to professional development and willing to learn.

  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting.

  • Must have own transport and be willing to drive.
