Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a personal assistant to support a friendly, energetic and good humoured male with autism, both in his home and out in the local community. Job Role The main job role will be to act as a companion and mentor supporting with the ongoing development of social skills. Independent living skills, whilst broadening his knowledge of activities and groups available locally. Main tasks involve
- Helping him to develop further interests and activities by identifying and accessing opportunities locally.
- Support in developing friendships and relationships especially in relation to the LGBTQ+ community
- Develop independent living skills through prompting with household tasks, helping with managing money
