Select Investment Advisor | S2 | Private Banking and Select Investments | Birmingham

If you have experience in providing customers with investment advice and see your future as a key colleague in our branch network, this could be your opportunity to become a Select Investment Advisor. It's a premium service: you'll be working with customers looking to invest for at least five years or more. You'll listen to their needs, clarify their objectives and analyse their circumstances. Where appropriate, you'll explain which of our award-winning investment products are right for them. We're shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing regulated investment advice to help clients meet their objectives. Representing Santander Select and investments in Branch.
• Identifying potential new customers in need of this Service.
• Demonstrating deep understanding of wider financial affairs and financial products to ensure that knowledge is comprehensive, and client focused.
• Maintaining up to date and compliant records to ensure relevant internal standards and external regulatory requirements are observed.

• Proven skills in providing investment advice and delivering an outstanding customer experience (Required)
• A good knowledge and understanding of wider financial markets, with exposure to the full range of banking products and financial planning in-dustry (Preferred)
Education:
• A Level 4 Financial Planning diploma valid for FCA activity 4 (giving personal recommendations on retail investment products) (Required)

• Salary Range:
• £47,142.00 - £70,714.00 per annum (depending on experience)
• This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
• £500 annual cash allowance to spend on our great range of benefits.
• 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 28 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.

• We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don't contribute yourself. We'll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
