Security Support Officer

You will:

-Provide security cover across corporate, retail and industrial sites

-Carry out internal and external patrols

-Monitor CCTV in line with company and legal requirements

-Manage access control and check identification

-Welcome staff, visitors and contractors professionally

-Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and security incidents

-Complete clear and accurate incident and shift reports

-Escalate concerns to supervisors, clients or emergency services

-Lock and unlock buildings and ensure premises are secure

-Undertake key-holding and alarm-response duties when required

-Report hazards and support health and safety procedures

-Conduct bag searches and vehicle checks where applicable

-Assist with conflict resolution and crowd management

-Act as a visible deterrent to theft, antisocial behaviour and security breaches

-Support reception and front-of-house duties when required

-Work independently and as part of a wider security team

A valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence

-A flexible and reliable approach to work

-Strong communication and customer service skills

-The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

-Good observational and problem-solving skills

-Basic IT skills for emails, reports and security systems

-Willingness to travel between different sites

-A professional and customer-focused attitude

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are strongly preferred due to the multi-site nature of the role., You will be:
