Job Title: Security Supervisor - Marks & Spencer Distribution Centre Location: Bradford Hours: 4 on / 4 off - Days, Nights & Weekends (including short-notice cover) Contract Type: Full-time Job Overview Fantastic opportunity to join the Mitie and Marks & Spencer family! We are seeking a confident, experienced, and professional Site Protection Supervisor to support and supervise security operations at the Marks & Spencer Distribution Centre in Bradford. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Protection Officers, providing on-shift supervision of Site Protection Officers, and ensuring security operations are delivered to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment while demonstrating strong leadership, professionalism, and customer focus. This role requires flexibility across days, nights, and weekends, including the ability to provide short-notice cover as required. Full training will be provided. Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Site Protection Officers on shift, ensuring effective coverage and compliance
• Act as the first point of contact for operational issues, incidents, and escalations when on duty
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of appearance, conduct, and professionalism
• Support the delivery of excellent customer service in line with Mitie and M&S values
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV operations, and vehicle movements
• Conduct and oversee regular internal and external patrols
• Support the prevention and investigation of theft, stock loss, and unauthorised access
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Ensure accurate, timely, and professional incident reporting and shift handovers
• Support mentoring, coaching, and development of SPO colleagues
• Work collaboratively with the Site Protection Team Leader and site management
• Ensure compliance with all site procedures, security policies, and Health & Safety requirements
• Provide flexible support, including short-notice cover when operationally required
Person Specification Previous experience in a security supervisory role or a senior SPO role Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills Literate and numerate with excellent attention to detail Professional appearance with high personal standards Calm, confident, and effective under pressure Reliable, adaptable, and proactive Able to work independently and supervise a team Must hold a valid front-line SIA Licence Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly
• Ensure correct use of all equipment and PPE
