Security Supervisor

AsSecurity Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe andsecure environment, overseeing daily operations, supporting and developingsecurity officers, and ensuring that service standards consistently exceedexpectations. You'll be a visible leader on site, building strong relationshipswith colleagues and stakeholders, responding to incidents with confidence, andhelping to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence. • Promote a strong safety culture by conducting safety walks, monitoringcompliance, and ensuring all site documentation and policies remain up to date.
• Deliver mandatory training, support ongoing development, and maintain accurateemployee records in line with company policy and legislation.
• Manage workforce planning, attendance, and absence processes to ensureeffective resource coverage across the site.
• Act as the first point of contact for site issues, liaising with clients,customers, control room teams, and senior management to ensure timelyresolutions.
• Respond to and report incidents appropriately, maintaining accurate records andliaising with external agencies, including the police, where required.
• Ensure the safety of service users within a high-risk environment, enforcingsite procedures and security protocols at all times.
  
  Please note that, due to the nature of this role,applicants must be aged 18 or over and hold a valid, in-date SIA licence., Minimum of 3 years' security experience in a supervisory role, with the abilityto lead teams effectively in high-risk and challenging environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills, with theability to build strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
• Valid Door Supervisor SIA licence, with successful completion of DBS andBPSS/BS7858 screening requirements.
• Competent in IT systems, report writing, incident logging, and maintainingconfidentiality while working accurately under pressure.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements; IOSH Level 2, IWFMmembership, or a relevant Level 2 qualification would be advantageous.
  
  58 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• Monday to Thursday 9:00am till 9:30pm
• Friday 9:00am till 5:00pm
• £14.20 per hour
