Security Response Officer

CIS Security has an exciting opportunity for a Security Response Officer to join our team, supporting a portfolio of prestigious commercial, retail and corporate sites across Leeds and the surrounding areas. Acting as an ambassador for both CIS Security and our clients, you will provide cover across multiple locations, supporting holiday absence, sickness cover and additional operational requirements as required. This is a varied and dynamic role, ideal for a flexible and proactive individual who thrives in different environments and can quickly adapt to the needs of each site. You will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of security, professionalism and customer service, ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients, visitors and occupiers alike.,

• Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.
  
  We are looking for officers who hold a valid SIA licence and are willing to work across a range of sites and shift patterns. The role requires the ability to remain vigilant whilst standing and patrolling for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors, and to respond professionally and effectively to changing operational demands. Flexibility, reliability and a strong customer-focused approach are essential to success in this role., SIA Licence required
• Security and customer service experience is required
• Must be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
• Must have good command of English language
• Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties - Hospitals, retail, long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control, and lock ups
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
• To have a smart appearance befitting the company
• Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested, Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
• To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service and ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
• Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems (Lots of sites use different Systems)
• Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry.
• Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
• Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
• The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.
