Full Job Description
- Provide out-of-hours security cover across the College
- Patrol the campus on foot and by security vehicle
- Monitor CCTV, fire and intruder alarm systems
- Respond to alarms and incidents, keeping accurate records
- Secure buildings and access points
- Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors and contractors
- Liaise with emergency services when required
- Support external lettings during school holidays
Radley College is seeking a professional and reliable Security Porter to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment across our outstanding boarding school campus. This role is ideal for someone calm, observant and confident, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts. As a visible presence on site, you will play a key role in safeguarding pupils, staff and visitors., - Calm, vigilant and professional under pressure
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Computer literate (email and basic MS Office)
- Full UK driving licence and valid SIA licence required
- Previous security experience desirable, which are not visible to the selection committee. - Night shifts: 7pm-3am, 9pm-5am or 11pm-7am
