Security Officer

To ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, visitors, and assets by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activities, and responding effectively to incidents or emergencies. Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish security presence.
• Monitor and authorize entry of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Protect property and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security breaches immediately.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including fire, medical, or security incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems where applicable.
• Assist in enforcing company policies, site rules, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
• Liaise with emergency services when required.
  
  Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Basic report writing and record-keeping skills.
• Understanding of public safety and security procedures.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience in a security role preferred.
• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence.
• Fire Safety training (desirable).
• Good physical condition and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
