About the RoleAs a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and members of the public. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday daytime shift pattern, making it ideal for someone looking for stability and work-life balance.
You'll be expected to provide a professional, approachable and visible presence on site at all times.
What You'll Be Doing
-Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
-Carrying out patrols and identifying potential risks
-Responding to incidents and supporting emergency situations
-Providing excellent customer service and site support
-Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
-Working closely with colleagues and external services when required
-Ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times
Previous security experience
-Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
-Strong communication and customer service skills
-Professional, reliable and approachable attitude
-Ability to work independently and use initiative
-Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
