Security Officer

Our security team ensure all people are safe, and also feel safe, by providing a friendly and visible presence 24/7 as part of a rota system. The team accounts for our patient and staff's individual needs when delivering their service, which are diverse in nature.

This supports our Trust values of Kind, Safe and Effective and are looking for likeminded candidates to join our team that prioritise these values too

The Team also protects all Trust property against loss, theft and damage and incidents of fire.

Main duties of the job

To maintain good order and prevent public disorder on the Trust site

The protection of patients, staff, contractors and visitors against acts of violence, aggression and abuse

The protection of Trust property against loss, theft and damage and incidents of fire

The protection of property belonging to patients, staff, visitors and contractors against loss, theft and damage

Here at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust we employ around 6258 staff, each one of whom is dedicated to providing excellent, compassionate and safe care to every patient, every day., The Trust's services are provided from three locations: o The Countess of Chester Hospital: providing 473 general and acute beds. o Ellesmere Port Hospital: providing 60 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility. o Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: a base for community services which serve the local rural population.
